Food Expiration Dates 2.11-pro.1.1.1 is now available. This release is based on version 2.11 of the open-source variant and focuses on fixing two issues affecting Pro features.

  • The first issue involved expiration reminders.
Foods that were within the advance notification window selected by the user could be reported in the notification as expiring “tomorrow”, even when their actual expiration date was two or more days away.
Notifications now correctly reflect when each food is due to expire.

  • The second issue affected the test notification feature.
If there were no foods expiring within the selected notification window, pressing the test button would result in no notification being shown at all. This could make it seem as though notifications were not working correctly.
Test notifications are now always displayed, even when there are currently no matching foods.

Thanks to the user who took the time to report these issues and helped me identify and fix them.
